its a useful topic. it helped me once. Once i was having problems with my keyboard. LEFT and RIGHT arrows weren’t working. Then i got the tool from Accessories. I won’t say that’s a great tool. But, its handy when you’re in emergency, you don’t have any option to get a new keyboard quickly. Hmm, kinda hard to chat with the virtual keyboard.

However, its really handy.

it’s very very useful information..i didn’t even know that our computer have on screen keyboard..well it’s very useful especially during emergency and if the button ‘O’, ‘S’, and ‘K’ works well.

Well for blazinglight41, this is just another alternative for you if some of the button on your keyboard didn’t works, if your keys don’t works at all, the solution is buy a new keyboard or replace your keyboard.

Yes it a very good way when you have a prob. whit your keyboard. But it very long to type whit a mouse lol… And you have many prob. whit it. But anyway, it do the job. But you can access to it whit this meaner to because whit the other meaner, you need to type, and when your keyboard is not working, you can’t type so… Here the meaner that you can use whit just a mouse : Go to START, after click on ALL PROGRAMS, after, go on ACCESSORIES. And then, go to ACCESSIBILITY. And finally, click on ON SCREEN KEYBOARD. Hope it help

Alternatively, you can also go to: Start -> All Programs -> Accessibility -> On-Screen Keyboard.

This will most likely solve your problem Blazinglight41 if your keyboard is in such bad shape. I find the Virtual Keyboard useful whenever I don’t want to make such a racket when my roommates are sleeping. I bought my keyboard a few years ago, and even though it’s in great shape, everytime you press a key there’s a loud “CLACK” sound. When I bought it, it was a quiet keyboard. If you’re keyboard is in that much of bad shape however that you have to use the Virtual Keyboard often, I think it’s time that you invest in another keyboard. Typing with the Virtual Keyboard is often slow and painful if you use it 24/7.

Well it is good that you posted this article. and i really am not trying to someone smart here, but my keyboard is in such a shape that i can’t even type any button properly. In essence, my question to you is basically how am i supposed to be going about and typing the command “OSK” when my keys don’t work at all?

anyways am glad to see pepole like u working on such types of adise.
