its a useful topic. it helped me once. Once i was having problems with my keyboard. LEFT and RIGHT arrows weren't working. Then i got the tool from Accessories. I won't say that's a great tool. But, its handy when you're in emergency, you don't have any option to get a new keyboard quickly. Hmm, kinda hard to chat with the virtual keyboard.

However, its really handy. :)

Thanks for the tips buddy. It will help a few novice users :)

it's very very useful information..i didn't even know that our computer have on screen keyboard..well it's very useful especially during emergency and if the button 'O', 'S', and 'K' works well.

Well for blazinglight41, this is just another alternative for you if some of the button on your keyboard didn't works, if your keys don't works at all, the solution is buy a new keyboard or replace your keyboard.

Alternatively, you can also go to: Start -> All Programs -> Accessibility -> On-Screen Keyboard.

This will most likely solve your problem Blazinglight41 if your keyboard is in such bad shape. I find the Virtual Keyboard useful whenever I don't want to make such a racket when my roommates are sleeping. I bought my keyboard a few years ago, and even though it's in great shape, everytime you press a key there's a loud "CLACK" sound. When I bought it, it was a quiet keyboard. If you're keyboard is in that much of bad shape however that you have to use the Virtual Keyboard often, I think it's time that you invest in another keyboard. Typing with the Virtual Keyboard is often slow and painful if you use it 24/7.
